The client wanted a concept for a new character and challenged me to mix a dragon, cat, and bird. The dragon was inspired with bat wings and a serpentine head and neck. I took the body of a lion and added plumage from the secretary bird. I gave it some personal flair by giving it spiral horns, two protruding from the brow bones, two from the back of the skull, and one at the crown. Two long whiskers seem to have an invisible connection to the jaw as a nod to eastern dragons. Five toed paws and extra long tail for balance.
