Insane Ramblings of a Perturbed and Work Weary Jaguar
A small piece I wrote on my phone during a particularly droll shift at work where it seems I started to loose my mind just a wee bit.
I feel infinitely old, yet naive and helpless as a new born babe.
My mind is a Cacophonous whirlwind of rampant thoughts, tantalising delusions and beautiful contradictions.
Have I possible gone mad? Was I, or is anyone, every truly sane to begin with?
Is it possible that I have finally, blissfully, dangerously, terrifyingly, thankfully, joyously begun my decent into true, genuine magnificent insanity?!
A most fascinating and tempting prospect to be sure.
Yet even as I write now, to document my delirious decent, I find myself at the surface of calmer waters; the whirlwind taking its brief and fickle rest.
Is then perhaps poetry, if one is so bold as to call such manic ramblings “poetry”, to be my yet to be sung saviour?
I do propose now that we shall discover the answer to such a delightful conundrum together.
Join me for the ride if you will, dear reader, but only if you dare. I can promise naught, but that this will be one most interesting journey indeed.
