This handsome wolfie is a commission for Lupana on deviantART of her character Kuma. :D

I was really excited at the chance to sculpt a wolf character. Back in high school I was so crazy about wolves, and have collected several figurines and sculptures of them. This is my first time seriously sculpting a wolf, though, and it was very fun! I also got a chance to try out a new fur style. I wanted to give the impression of fur without having to carve every single strand of fur, as that had become so, so time consuming! o_o Though there is definitely a bit more tweaking that can be done, I'm pretty happy with the result on this guy. :)

Kuma measures approximately 3 inches tall and 6 inches long. He is sculpted from Super Sculpey/Sculpey firm polymer clay over a wire and foil armature. He was painted with acrylics glazed for protection.
