And so glad to hear you're learning about basketball! :) I'll let you in on a little secret-- ten years ago, I didn't know anything about basketball, either! But it's never too late to learn, and I hope you'll find what I did, that it's a fun, exciting sport and one perfect for furriness! I think what I like best about having a furry basketball league is that the uniforms are light, so you get to really see the characters (no pads or special equipment on the bodies), and the teams are small, so you get to be much more intimate with the individuals playing the game. Unique guys like this one have a real shot at making a name for themselves and being someone people want to follow. I know I want to! :)

Yeah, I've really never really been into sports, but Basketball at least looks like a game that wouldn't bore me to death while watching it, unlike that soccer nonsense. XD And if I'm suposed to continue drawing artwork for the FBA now and then, well, then I would much prefer if I was a bit more knowledgeable! And I think you're right about it being the perfect choice for a furry sports league like this, though I never even thought about it that way, heh.

I do owe you an explanation! :) I grew up in a family with no interest in sports at all, so I never paid attention to them. But then I got a job working at a videogame company that made sports videogames, and I was forced to learn SOME sports just to keep my job. But after learning a little bit, I found I really loved it, and learned a lot more!

I'm a lifelong furry, though, but it took me several years before I tried to mix my old love of furry with my new love of basketball. But hey! It seems to be working! :D
