On Dec. 25 of last year, the Biloxi Mudpuppies played a home game against the Huntsville Mayors. They lost, but Silas Rand made the highlight reel when he dunked on 2 Mayors who were several inches taller than he. ^^
Inspired by that story, I've been toying with this one since January. Finally got it presentable a couple of weeks ago. Gave it to
BuckHopper as a birthday present.
It's his birthday today, by the way. So go wish
BuckHopper a happy one, will you? Tell him C-Cat sent you.~

There is a rule for avian ballers in the FBA. Known as the "One Flap" Rule. Avian's when jumping can only use their wings once while in midair for whatever reason, to block a shot, the additional height for a jumpshot or a dunk, or to rebound the basketball after a miss. If they flap any more times, then it is a penalty.
I've noticed that, too. XD I think it's because the team has a ton of character, they're in one of the most competitive divisions in the league, and the team has a very wide variety of players. When you look at the team's big 3, you've got a fox, a heron and an iguana, and having three different animal classes makes them more interesting for artists to draw.
Thank you so much, C-Cat! Great piece! I am a big fan of Silas Rand, and it's especially awesome to see him in a big play like this, playing under that big blue Biloxi tarp. Wonderful job of tying together several FBA elements into a very cool and exciting piece! And what a great b-day gift!! Thank you so much!! :D
