As if he wasn't threatening enough as the Guardian of Angel Island, infuse him with Dark Gaia energy and he becomes a true monster. Every little detail thrown into this composition is just awesome: From the glow effects on his eyes and the master emerald, to the ray of moonlight cast down on him, the intensity lines on his muzzle and brow, and the heated steam effects from his nostrils. Even the heavy muscle detail works towards the quality of this pic. You may think it's shitty, but you made it work very well. It's definetly earned a favorite in my book.
Like the first comment says, don't be so hard on yourself just because you think this drawing looks bad. This looks really well done. In fact, it looks professionally drawn. I'd give this a ten out of ten if it was scored. No kidding!!
You should draw the Werehog next, because Knuckles and Sonic would both look good in a picture like this. Just a suggestion... if you think you don't want to do that, that's fine, too. Whatever floats your boat.
