I have only played for Stormcloaks so far, but I will try to remain unbiased until I can bring myself to play Empire at least once XD I just like the attitudes of laid back guys like Ralof, so I had more fun running around with him >.>

I'm also way too fond of Talos to want to deal with anyone who works with/for the thalmor <.< I have great deals of fun running around freeing stormcloak soldiers from said elves.

I would too if I hadn't really thought about it. From a long term point of view, you can't overthrow the Thalmar with a divided empire. Also, should the stormcloak rebellion succeed it will more than likely restart the great war causing much more death and chaos than in just the provice of Skyrim. From what I gather the Empire never worked for/with the Thalmar D-bags. They were forced into an uneasy truce with them. One of the conditions of the truce was the Whitegold Concordant which banned the worship of talos cause the snoopy-poopy highelves think a 'man' shouldn't be worshiped as a god.

just for the record, he IS a racist nationalist. not that the empire is much better since it's under the Almery Dominion.

you know i've owned this game for 5 months and still haven't settled the civil war? i can't choose which side is filled with the least amount of assholes.... then it hit me. the game reflects ACTUAL politics quiet well. XD

not to mention the thamler are the biggest pricks in the game. it's a good thing good/evil don't reflect your appearance as in Fable.

XD This is true, but really, just judging him on that is unfair. A lot of people in the games (morrowind and oblivion as well) are extremely racist. I mean, look at all the khajiit that aren't allowed in ANY city (not just windhelm) in skyrim. Or Leyawiin in Oblivion...and the fact that in Oblivion, an NPC's personality (and thus, dialogue) can be swayed based on your race XD....I get called Snow-man a lot in Oblivion >.> And then there's Morrowind's tendency to resort to slavery XD

But really, I've noticed that when you wander into a camp in field, if its Imperials, they'll threaten you to leave, and finally attack you if you don't. The Stormcloaks coudlnt' care less that you hang out with them, unless you touch their meat or their horses XD Also...I've never seen stormcloaks parading along the roads with prisoners, just imperials and thalmor. Buuuut this could just be me XD

I watched my roommate play twice through the war, played it myself once...and then started a new game cause I just like the Thieves Guild and Companions too much XD

ummm..... what race are you? XD cuz i'm a Nord. i'm accepted by EVERYONE! :D i travel between stormcloak and imperial camps and neither care. no one ever calls me racist names and i'm pretty much trusted to begin with, despite how much of a dick i make my character to be. XD

i'm assuming you're Kajit. furries seem obligated to choose the Kajit. but then again, they have every reason to mistrust them. they are a majority of thieves and bandits in every game. not all of them, but the bad ones make the reputation for the rest. as in reality.

XD As far as the racist names, that was just in Oblivion, where I played a Nord (I prefer Nords in every game). In Skyrim, I have a nord, a breton, and a khajiit, but its happened with all three, and my roommate's Nord and Argonian (though her Nord WAS a stormcloak at the time it happened to him XD)

i'm Imperial but stormcloaks don't seem to mind. i never started a new game cuz i'm still not finished my current one with a shit ton still left to do.

also i never had my xbox when oblivion was around. i did play bits and pieces of it though.

....you know, between my buddy and I, i think redguard is about the only thing we've never played o.O, I mean, she's played dunmer, nord, argonian, khajiit, imperial, breton, orc, altmer and bosmer...and I'm usually nord khajiit or breton....O.o I think we've never made a redguard...O^O I must remedy this immediately!
