i like to imagine there could be different species of vampires. so while you have the ol' human-turned-bloodsucker variety there could also be the born-snacking-on-hemoglobin-never-actually-human variety, too. CALL ME A WEIRDO 8D

inspired by watching 'nosferatu' a few too many times, i'd like you to meet boris. boris is at the top of the food chain but doesn't see any problem with snacking on small/unconventional animals if he's hanging out around people, really. which is nice of him, since he tends to go to a lot of dance clubs.

boris can't manage the POOF-now-i'm-a-tiny-bat trick, but he does have a small bit of shapechanging talent, which focuses entirely on switching between humanoid arms and gigantic bat wings. he doesn't wear many shirts. he's fond of draping big blankets over his shoulders like a cape or lengthening old coats to hang floor-length. they're like cloth wings! he's such a dork.

like any proper bloodsucker, boris can be found hanging upside-down in old abandoned castles during the day. he won't burst into flame or crumble to dust in the sunlight, but being fully nocturnal he WILL be miserable and cranky if he has to go out anytime before dusk. boris being cranky is kind of hilarious; he isn't made for it.
