I gotta apologize. I think things that I said to help you made you mad at me because I couldn't get the connection between your pains and memories. Your story is really well describing your feels and emotions.
I for myself am much of the opinion with your soul. Like him, you're strong because of your friendly nature. I am sure even that in such a haven the people might not be nice, your soul will keep strong and you'll manage it. People will appreciate you.
I didn't men to say that all the scars and things you had to endure wouldn't mean anything. I know they made your soul stronger but I for myself thought it would be better if you could try to give those black stripes not a less important role.
