Its sorta scary that the Nazi's were actually considering to build it. XD Can you imagine how the war would've turned if they did build it?

Not that different, that thing could not move fast enough, so it would surely have been an easy target for dive bombers, and it surely would have needed lakes of fuel. And when the nazis considered building it they were allready running so low on fuel that nearly half of all their tanks had to be destroyed by their own crews because they had no fuel left to return to base, so they destroyed them rather than to let them fall into enemy hands. The Ratte would met the same fate. The only thing that would have really changed the war was their airforce, they allready did have the chance to built an airfleet of jet-fighters but they didn't, luckily, imagine a fleet of ME 262 or Horten IX in the battle of England. That would have totally changed the course of the war.

granted Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII would probably be a bad medium of comparison but there 'were' some jet fighters. but I can imagine craploads of jet fighters putting Mustangs and Warhawks to the test.

The Nazis even had prototypes for a stealth fighter, not a stealth bomber like the F117 but the Horten IX http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horten_Ho_229 . Ermmm, I don't know how you are about commissions, but...you konw I am allready thinking about a sequel to my main story series and in that series there are also some weird / interesting machines and I would really like to see them viasualized. Do you think you can maybe do some of them, I would of course pay for them.

They can move on their own accord, but they aren't in line with the bottom turrets rotating axis or whatever want to call it. When they turn they'd be all over the place and it'd look generally like a tower of chaos.

Fairly certain there's plenty of it here.
