I have a lot of those spiders living at my house. I named the big-momma "Sticky." :D
I'm scared to death of spiders myself, but for whatever reason, black and yellow argiopes don't bother me. I think it may have something to do with it being the only spider I can properly identify and know won't hurt me.
They can't see too well. >.<

from what i heard the Brown Widow is the same deadly kind as the black one. its just brown with slight black spots and a orange hour glass shape and not red.. . one spider that kind of freaks me out allot is the Spitting spider which is white.. and will spit spines into its pray .. covering it with deadly white spines. -shivers- .
When I was 8 years old, I saw the movie Aracnidphobia. You know.. the one with John Goodman in it... that is listed as a comedy at most video stores. That movie....
