After talking with a good friend of mine for a while...we decided that this song really didn't need much more. It didn't need to be long to say what it's supposed to say.

This is really professional sounding - the melody, the structure of the song, the lyrics - everything sounds like a perfect song to be played in radio on a daily basis.
The song has hit potential if you ask me.
Fun fact: When my mate
datbaldur played this song over and over again and decided to do a cover of it, I thought it's a new song from some new famous star in the music industry. When he told me that it's written by a furry from FA, I didn't believe him at first. That's how well written your piece of music here is

I fumbled a lot with this song when I was writing it. In fact, I wasn't even 100% convinced that it was finished until I showed it to a close friend of mine.
I'd love to try to get into the music industry, and it's awesome when I get a comment like this. It's a tough industry to get into, and there's so much talent in the industry already that it's just daunting. Worrying about whether I could get anywhere when there are better singers, guitarists, writers...comments like this give me hope that some day I'll be able to make it happen ^^.

Normally, I'm just a lurker here, but, I felt the need to say something.
I agree with Asgraeac 100%. The chord progression, tone, melody of voice compliment each other superbly, and the confident fingering helps, too. For a long time, I've been hovering over the idea of trying again to make my place in the music world outside my own personal community, and I must say, this has given me the motivation to do so. *Applauds.* You're a gifted artist, don't sell yourself short.
