So, this little adventure has a small backstory: On our way to a festival with a few other friends, Sully and I walked ahead of the group to figure out which train we were supposed to be getting on. Thinking the one that was sitting at the platform still had plenty of time before it left, we walked on to check out the little map. Well, at the train stations in Japan, music usually plays to signal the departure of the train; it just so happened that the platform conductor was making an announcement over the music. We looked confused at each other for a moment, and Sully ran off the train right afterwards without a word. Still confused, no more than a moment later, I went to jump off, but the doors slammed in my face....leaving me stuck on a train headed in the wrong direction. Sully meanwhile, was laughing his tail off and waving as the train carried me away....we in the Army have a term for that; blue falcon [code word for buddy fucker, someone who screws someone else up on purpose].
