Might as well post this here: I did this illustration as a main page for my personal website, Kanthara's Loft, which is me surrounded by a few of my characters and characters I've worked on in different comics and TV shows. A who's who can be found here.
On the website, the image is surrounded by buttons that lead to almost every webpage I have material in.

To get into it was a question of getting out there and being lucky enough to freelance for a storyboard artist who took me under his wing. To stay in it involved a lot of work and constant searching for contracts and reminding people you exist, and making enough of an impression with your work that they call you back for new shows. :)

You worked on Fred's Head?! Nice! I really liked that show! And quite an impressive portfolio you made there too! I love these types of images where the creater would haved a real life pic of him/herself and put in their characters and/or the characters they've worked with in various cartoons. :)
Remember the pregnant lady in the show, the one who dressed up as Santa in the Christmas episode and appeared a couple more times? She was based on me: I was 6 months pregnant when I started working on that show. I storyboarded the episode with the party where everyone's dressed in pink and Fred gets drunk, and the one with the squirrel invasion. Then I had to leave because hey, baby ;)

XD i remember all those cartoons. omg i remember waking up every morning to watch sagwa! and in the afternoons watching the gargs XD oooo gawsh that was my uber favorite when i was a kid, i mean cmon who doesnt like gargoyles? XD
