The Pinkerton detective agency was all too often used to break up strikes in the 1800s, giving them a somewhat unsavory reputation. Here we have a strikebreaker with some protest signs beneath his boots and a hammer in his hands.
Pinkerton is also the name of a Great Dane in a series of children's books by Steven Kellogg, thus my choice for animals in this sculpt. The Dane here has a different pattern than the one from the children's series, though they are both harlequins. (Harlequin being the term for this black and white ink splatter coat color)
ApoxieSculpt. He's painted in acrylic. He stands a full 12" tall with his ears. Sculpture originally done in 2006, I resculpted his head in 2007.
