Yup... had that, kinda, happen once trying to get to England (Buffalo to Chicago O'Hare to Gatwick).

Got to Chicago OK. Layover of 1 hr...

12 hrs later we're on the way to Gatwick. (*Sigh*)

aww, poor kitten... she looks as if it takes just one annoying kid for her to go postal on the airport. :)

I'd say she's just a hair's breadth away from earning assault and battery charges.

Or just a "being irritable/assertive,going-down-a-conversation-path-where-the-word-bomb-might-potentially-be-used in a airport" charge.

I wonder, were they flying thru Dallas? XD I had to spend the night at the Dallas airport because I missed not one, but TWO flights out to MFM thanks to the lovely airline I was flying.

I wouldn't fly American Airlines even if they giving away free tickets, especially not after my return trip from Alaska.

Actually, I wouldn't want to fly on *any* American airline (AA, United et al) where I had the choice - service is terrible and the food is rubbish.

(When I used to do a lot of travel, I flew QANTAS, Air New Zealand and United Airlines between Auckland and Los Angeles. I always remember that the Business Class passenger pack on United was the same as the Economy Class passenger pack on ANZ / QANTAS...!)

IF I have to fly, I'll use midwest.
If I can swing it I'll catch a hop from the military base near where I live.

Even more fun? Listening in on the radio and hearing that an airliner has taken a birdstrike. Then landing and finding out that the aircraft that took the hit is your connection- and it's gotta be inspected now...
