This happens early in the game, Right after Giul kills his friend for going completely psycho. He didn't mean to kill his friend. So when he has his dream his dead friend is actually haunting him. Like a Jin if you believe in that sort of thing.

From the very beginning it shows Giul sleeping. Then as he suddenly blacks out from his thoughts, after a few minutes, the first guitar resembles his spirit falling out of his body. The camera angle resembles his point of view. The entire background disappears and focuses on him. His eyes are still closed.

When the bass line in the background fades in his body moves almost as if it is suspended in water.

When the background noise that sounds like someone talking fades in the entire black void starts populating with very faint neon colors. Then when the climax of the sound effect hits and the sitar strums its note... That is when the sun light blinds you with Giul still in full view. And you see his eyes open.

What he see's at first is a place he does not even recognize. Even to you it is alien. But then it starts phasing in and out. What each phase is doing is showing you situations that Giul gets into with certain characters. His dead friend keeps flashing in his mind with everything they talked about since they knew each other. All the fights with him are the focus but then there are phases in which you see different characters with Giul.

Then the finale, when you hear the snare getting louder and louder, it is Giul's body falling. You see it start picking up speed. It is getting closer to the ground. Faster and faster until you see Giul's body sort of conform to the way Giul is sleeping and it slams into his body and he wakes up.
