So...it was my first night at my first furcon. I'd been there all of 2 hours. Growly had been superkind to let me stay in her hotel room after my original plans for a roof over my head had fallen through. She gives me the roomkey and I head up to the room and want to build a spot on the floor for me to sleep on.
I went to the closet to see if they had extra blankets, and I didn't know that's where Growly puts her heads for safe-keeping. When I opened the door, Amy's face is staring right at me. I end up eye to eye with a giant possum who's head is a big as I am!! I ..might...have screamed a little and jumped back, falling down on the bed behind me....maybe??
