Just being a nerd here and trying to ID these from the single pic ... Probably the Parasol Mushroom (Macrolepiota procera), but I wouldn't rule out Chlorphylum molybdites ... the two species are two variable and too similar to distinguish from one picture.

I can't recommend eating them. M. procera is pretty tasty, although a lot of people have idosyncratic allergic reactions. C. molybdites, on the other hand, is poisonous, and a really, really unpleasant way to spend a weekend.

No worries there, I dont eat mushrooms. The thought of eating something that sprouted directly out of waste, turns my stomach.

I eat fungi, but only if I know just what it is and how to cook it first...

I miss stumping my toe on that boot.

I miss putting my boots where you will trip over them in the afternoon. *grins*
