Just a little concept sketch for the teleportation vael...

Those are 'Coordinate Gems' hovering over his back. They are constantly changing, all but the sphere, to change where he'd end up. The sphere is his 'home gem'. Oddly enough, his 'home' is the void. Ala the Blind Eternities of Magic: the Gathering.

Most Teleportation Vael use the spheres in self-defense, making quick hops to remote locations away from the threat. Faze, on the other hand, picked up some tricks for Saerin'Tal. He flings his home gem at the enemy as a last resort, and as soon as it touches the target, and only the target, they're sent to his home... Where none but the vael and beings of a certain power can survive.
