In a direct translation yes lol but again Kitsunes are part of Japanese folk lore.

Tricksters, malevolent spirits, devil types... all the way to messengers and protectors. They have magical abilities that are more powerful with their age and their number of tales.

Tessa: While a Trickster and shape shifter she may be. She's not pure fox. She's half Shurian and half demon... her fox form just happens to come from the fact that her mom is a demon with many fox characteristics.

Keffria: A demon more than a fox... Her powers are tied to her creation not her number of tails or her age. She can be considered both a malevolent spirit by some, and a protector by others.
