*Whistles* Close battle then, thus far. Gerturde's got her scythe back, but Sam's still out of reach for unless the scythe is thrown again. Now, the hard part *Squints* is figuring out what you're doing. At least, I think that's you.

For a second, I thought she got Samantha, so I pulled out my dagger to avenge her. Seeing that wasn't necessary, I resheathed it.

Erm, sorry to be a bother- I'd just like to note that it's very hard to follow the action in the lower left panels- Is the scythe being pushed away or is Samantha pushing away from it? Otherwise I'd say it's a great action sequence.

Gertrude is picking up her scythe on a slide, using her momentum to get just that much closer to Samantha. She turned around in order to get some room to build up force for her next throw.
