Hmm you might want to get cupcake a toy or two to go in her cage. Bar chewing is a sign that she's bored

As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I thought the same thing as Melina. She's bored. If you do take her out of the cage, never take your eyes off her! Hamsters are worse than toddlers about disappearing when you're not looking at them!

Get her something to chew on like cardboard tubes, they love those. You see, hamster teeth never stop growing, so they are constantly searching for something hard to chew on. They can get some wicked looking painful saber teeth if they don't stop chewing. Also, chewing on the top mean she feels to confined and wants more room to explore.

I pamper my hamsters like crazy, I have two cages for one hamster connected by a few feet of wining tunnels and two wooden hideouts for it. every now and again I throw in some cardboard tubes and some old, yet clean, shocks for them to chew on. since then it stopped chewing on the bars of her cage.
