This is just a small doodle I did, which I decided to clean and base color, and decided to do a more detail color. I've just been drawing allot of doodles lately, and this one came out decent enough to post.

Its nothing great, but something to show I'm still alive and working my art.

~~Picture Information~~

A picture of Mamoru Vanguard, with his new born son Ike Miles Vanguard. He finally reached his hidden dream, and has become a father.
Though unknown to Mamoru at the time he was already a father. He had a daughter Shade, back on the planet Mobius he did not know about during this period of time.

This little picture takes place a year after the event known as the "Year of Hell," on the planet Nora. It was a year which marked the turning point against the fight with the evil Eggman, now known as Robotnik. It was during this point that Robotnik was taking control of the planet, with his evil might.

During this brutal year Mamoru pushed himself far beyond his limits, protecting the citizens of Planet Nora. During of which the golden fox had many close run-ins with death, and his body was greatly weakened.

Unlike his other friends, Pierre Lapin and the echidna Red, Mamoru had no one to return home too. He often started at the stars; gazing at Planet Mobius, thinking about his lover Silo whom he left behind on Mobius.

When Eggman had finally been defeated, he fled the planet. He claimed he would return with a robot army to crush those of Mobius for their resistance.
Mamoru took it on himself to hunt down Eggman, and put an end to his evil once and for all. He took the responsibility allowing the other freedom fighters to retire and enjoy their new life of peace.

With Mamoru would go two of his best friends Pierre Lapin and Red the echidna. They made it their goal to put an end to Eggman's madness, and stop anyone else from becoming a target of his evil.

Mamoru would leave behind his lover Silo, one of the last of the Knights of the Valkyrie. ((Which was not known at the current time.)) Silo had a bound and duty to protect the Chaos Priestess Mirage, and could not just leave her side.

It was not believed that Mamoru and his friends would be go long anyway. They expected to catch Eggman with little to no trouble.
However; once on Nora, Eggman would be supplied by an unknown power. With the supplies given to him he was able to create an army of robots unlike anything he had before on Mobius.
Thus Mamoru and his friends got stuck on Nora for years, battling for their lives. The poor fox knight was torn from the one he loved.

Red took it on himself to get his friend Mamoru hooked up with the Valkyrie Marisa, whom taken an interest in him. He wished for his friend to experience the joys in life he was able to experience, having a loving family.

Red felt Mamoru would not live long enough, to make a return to Mobius, and with the help of Pierre tried to get the two foxes together.
Both also believed Silo had likely already moved on by this point, due to her past history. It was not until their return to Mobius did they learn of her loyalty and love for Mamoru.

During the "Year of Hell" Mamoru would be captured by Eggman, and brutally tortured for 3 days before rescue. The event left Mamoru's body broken, also losing sight in his left eye. It was projected that he would not live a normal life-span.

After that event, Mamoru finally broken, and started opening up to the vixen Marisa. He become taken with her, feeling he enjoy the few years he had left with her, and the two got into a relationship.

Thus, shortly afterward Ike was born, and Mamoru got the joy of fatherhood. His son, named after a great hero of Nora, and a great hero of Mobius would carry down the Vanguard name.

((So Red played a factor into Ike's birth. XD Had it not been for Red, Ike likely would not have been born.))

((Note: As a gift before Marisa dies, she heals the damage done to Mamoru body after discovering her hidden powers. This restored and increased Mamoru's life span.
The damage to Mamoru's eye was also healed; the eye color now blue like Marisa was. It believed it so she could watch over Mamoru and his future family.))

However, Mamoru was actually already a father. Having, without his knowledge, leaving behind his unborn daughter Shade on Mobius. ((Ike's older half sister))

On his return to Mobius, it pained Mamoru to find out he had left behind a child. Shade was one of his reasons for retirement as a "Defender of the Innocent;" the reason he had left Silo before, to put an end to Eggman evil.

Red, feeling bad for pushing Mamoru into a relationship on Nora, helped his friend once again. Telling Mamoru there was no shame in his actions back on Nora. As during the time it was likely felt he never make it back.

Later down the road Mamoru would have a second child with Silo, after they were married. It was one of the greatest moments of his life, being together with his family, with nothing binding him away.

Despite all that, Mamoru was never ashamed for the birth of his son Ike, and it was one of the happiness moments of his life.
Ike is also the only son he had, or half son. XD ((Or, at least as far as I have his current history.))
