About him: He's the typical quiet one that doesn't really want to stand out and is insecure of himself which he covers up with indifference making it difficult to socialize with others. Most times he's always looking away in deep thought. He loves his family but he loves his friends even more, and is afraid of losing them because one of his greatest fears is to be alone.

Background: He's the seventh out of ten brothers. He was always looking for attention as a cub, doing whatever it would take, which resulted in a lot of troubles and several groundings from his family, so he eventually gave up and stopped doing things to make himself stand out, not only with his family but outside as well, alienating him from everyone else.
He comes in Hanzo's life when he's in high school. At first sight, he thought of Hanzo as the show-off kind of guy, seeing as he was always surrounded by people, such status eventually crumbled when everyone found out Hanzo's sexuality and left him isolated, Leonel approached him first out of pity but soon found out that he was a good person after all and ended up being good friends. After several months all the good intentions from Leonel were misunderstood by Hanzo who hit on Leonel thinking he was also gay, turning it into an awkward situation for Leonel who was only trying to be his friend. Even so Leonel didn't care and he continued talking to him as if nothing ever happened, strengthening the bond between them both.

Even if he had troubles socializing Leonel always had a girlfriend in school, the real problem was to maintain the relationship, which always ended as soon as it started.

Some time later he met Guzmaro, being introduced by Hanzo, and found out he had a lot of things in common, videogames for example. Even when Guzmaro drops out of school they keep on seeing each other to do almost everything together.

When Leonel graduates from high school, he's annoyed by his family and the little privacy that exists in his home, motivating him to leave and be independent, however he finds it difficult because of his economical situation, so he got the idea to share not only the same roof with his friends, but the expenses too and also his life.

Angered and sad by his friends decision, he has no other choice but to continue with his life, which is now a mess since he doesn't even know what he wants.
