John and I are at it again.

This was a chorus idea I'd been tossing around for a week or two...Finally got a chance to show it to John, and we wound up working on melodies and lyrics until 5 AM. So far, I'm happy with the progress we've made, and during some of the downtime after cleaning and packing today, I sat down and recorded this.

It was raining today, and we had the windows open for a little while...and I ended up catching some very pretty-sounding rain during the silent parts. I'll be sad if we can't replicate that for the finished version, since I don't feel the song would be complete without it.

I also put in a few harmonies just for fun, since I've been testing that whole theory out lately. The more I work with John, the better I get at singing. Seriously, it's uncanny.
