No process as such, just sketch until perspective is acceptable, then re-draw with cleaner lines.

Nope.
That's the GT500 badge, which is on the correct side; the Cobra badge is the one that, if fitted, normally goes on the other side.

I've never seen the anime before. I have a couple of the books though. That's how I got into the series . It is a great series though, and this really did turn out awesome

I always wondered what you were supposed to wire to those lug/socket/eyes/whatever on the hood.

They're just there to bolt it down, and the wires are just there to stop the bolts going walkabout. Functional in the '60s, now more of a cosmetic thing.
