Okay, so how do you bend your right foot/ankle so far to the right when your legs are crossed like that? Shouldn't the foot be lined up with the knee cap and shin, in that both face the same direction? Idk maybe the perspective is throwing me off.

The knee is not a hinge, it's a swivel joint. It can be turned ~30 degrees to either side.

Well I'm talking about the ankle and the foot in relation to the leg. The left ankle/ foot can rotate, at best, 5 to 10 degrees to the right if the knee and shin are facing in one direction. Here, it appears the roo's left foot has been twisted a full 15 to 20 degrees to his right in relation to his shin and knee. It's one of the first things I noticed and I can't un-see. Even though I find it difficult as a man to cross my legs like that, I can't rotate my ankle to that extreme while in that position. But, maybe that's just an illusion of the perspective. In any case I do like the pic.

How do you determine exactly where the shin is?
