This was my best friend and most loyal companion. Her name was Kelsea. She lived to the ages of 19 before having had a stroke and becoming paralyzed from her mid spine to her hind legs. Went quietly with a shot, she could no longer eat on her own or move.

My biggest regret is that I wasn't there for you in those final moments of your life. But, I'll never forget the times you'd thud me coming through the door, how many tears I cried into your fur, the endless amounts of kisses you gave. No other dog could ever take your place. I hope I was good enough raising you. And I hope you can forgive me for that last day.

"I will always be with you, I'm the anchor of your sorrow. There's no end to what I'll do, because I love you...I love you to death."
