This is a version with a curve mask, I'm not totally set on the levels yet. We'll see how it prints I guess!

An afterglow of cindering pain, those trees and what use to be fluttering forrest ground is singing a wailing but humming sound now~

A lovely piece, I have seen scenery like this before, you've captured it well. I like the color~

You've really captured the forest after a fire. The burnt ground, trees, still glowing a little. I love the figure coming through the smoke. Seems to be searching for just a little speck of life.

The coolest thing about seeing paintings like this (aside from them being gorgeous!) is that they use all these colors a non-painter would never even think to combine! I am in love with this, I can't exactly explain it, but I can practically hear the wood smoldering, that almost sad crackling sort of noise. All of your scenes are so wonderfully done, this is no exception <3
