I admit that I have occasionally fav-bombed artists when I find someone new who has a good deal of nifty art, but re-favouriting art sounds weird - and I know some artists will do that, but I don't think that it should be expected for artists to thank for individual faves or comments, really. ^^;

I do this too. Mainly because I'm not sure when I will see it again

I know that some people want attention from artists, but jeez...

I have only ever unfaved and refaved if something was a several part comic and I wanted to fav them in sequence or it was as a joking way to say I really like a certain pic one time.

I had one person do that to me. Fav 5 or 6 pieces then a week later fav 5 or 6 more, some repeats. this went on sporadically for several months then quiet for a couple months. Thought it was over then it started up again. I think they've faved some pieces a half dozen times. Weird !

I don't blame you. I probably wouldn't notice myself 'cause I don't get a ton of faves, but then again I do tend to take the time to thank people.

Then again... I kinda have the time to do that, soooooo.... <.<;;

Had someone do that on another art sight. Must've faved the same several pieces at least half a dozen times over the course of 6 months or so.

I know sometimes I'll re-fave something to bump it up in my faves, but ... who knows with this guy. XD

I've faved multiples in an artists gallery, but constantly? wtf is the point?

when people do that, it would be no surprise at to why someone would be blocked in my book.

Just had someone favbomb my entire gallery of commissioned art today so am hoping I don't have to resort to blocking them.

I had someone keep doing that to me on Artspots. I have no idea why.

And I bet some people wonder why I don't spend all my time running around thanking each person for watches and faves, like I don't have anything better to do...(like make more art that they love?).

I might go thank someone I knew previously, if I'm already familiar with & like their work, or someone who has otherwise been more than a tiny blip on the radar... but for some new stranger that pops in like a bolt from the blue and just wants attention? You gotta be kidding me.

See I always find an artist I like and think "Oh this persons art is really cool" and then I go through their gallery and end up favoriting a ton and then thinking "Oh crap now they're gonna think I'm like...crazy or something!"

But intentionally doing that? That is crazy o_o

I know I generally fave bomb a lot of artists I think are amazing, but the only time when I double fave or anything is when I didn't realize that I faved something and accidentally unfave it. Course doesn't make me any less of a freak to go from the beginning of a gallery to the most recent, spamming up their inbox with faves from one user, but if I really like someone's style, I do it to see if there's more stuff I like. I hope I didn't piss off someone unintentionally!

I have a system for that. One thank you per person for all favs given in that day, unless the number of people is above a dozen in one day or the number of favs on a piece exceeds 100.

I will admit to doing that with watches. usually because the names are hard to remember, so i do it to put them at the top of the watchbox. then i remember how to spell the name when i post their request XD
