I know how you feel my character was much the same. If you were to look at pictures from years ago hes much different then he is now. The hairstyle is different, his fur pattern has changed and so has his outfit. I wish I was better at drawing and had the tools necessary to get better. I'm thankful I got a set of 48 count prisma color pencils, but I need inking pens.

Hard to pin point exactly what the origins are but its most definitely a generic style chosen buy a lot of artist who want a cool/sexy look.
I guess Tani da real may have popularised it (though I wouldn't really know since I don't follow the furry art scene too closely) and there have been a lot of people imitating it but putting there own little twist on it each time.
Its kinda Disney/Anime on my version I guess.?
