I thought for a change I'd post my most recent stuff, rather than rob the vault of past highlights.
The Muse didn't quite come to me while asleep, but rather while waking up. At first I didn't think it would make sense to anyone but myself. It scarcely did to me, once I was fully awake. But it seems to.
I've created a generic fan and dealers table, but the sketchbook etiquette is entirely furry. Nothing like it exists in SF fandom. As for the informal dedication -- my friend Steven really did ask how I came up with those crazy ideas. And how I drew them. Over and over. It's not the first time I've used his prompting to inspire me to one kind of creativity or other. Because of his pestering I wrote "Pencil Points" (see the earlier entries in my Journal).
So I guess that makes Steven my muse...

That, and the migration from the FurNet BBS system to various Internet fora... Yes, I meant Baldassara, which is why I meant SteveN. (The "n" capitalised for emphasis.)
The last I recall hearing from him was when he sent me a tape of a Canadian movie he thought I'd like- "Bach & Broccoli", which I did. :)
I know there are quite a few Canadian furs- Even some of the "oldtimers" still floating about, but I never get the impression- Not since the Trap Line BBS, it seems- of even much, if any, of a loose unity, old or new, of Canadian furs.
Sadly, I've only had sporadic contact with some Canadian furs over the years- Some not for the better. :(
I've always liked Steven- And pretty much the whole Canadian contingent back then...
Sometimes, I'm surprised there are still some of us "greymuzzles" (older furries, usually over 35) still in the furry community at all. ...Considering I'll be 42 in less than a month, and you had already been drawing before I was even conceived.
Anyhoo...
