My boyfriend bought me a baby bearded dragon yesterday
We named him Little Peep. He has his own facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/LittlePeepThomas
We don't know yet if it's a boy or girl, but we have been referring to it as a 'him.'
How exciting!!!
Also, I don't know how old he is, I just know he's real small ... and though I
have had a White's Tree Frog before, this little guy is my first desert reptile.
I've been looking online, but really, if anyone has any experience with
these little guys, please please let me know if there are any helpful tips
or important information I need to know.
I've got the basics down, but still need help getting him to drink from his
bowl and eat his greens!!

I'm not the best with names, but I'll tell you if I can think of some.
They prefer bugs when they're younger, but as they get older, they'll like their veggies more.
They also really like fruit, especially strawberries and bananas.
they'll also drink from their water bowl when they want to. I've rarely seen Glump drink from hers, but every so often, I'll catch her drinking.
If you want him to be friendly, pick him up often. I've heard you can also train them like dogs.

I worry with the water thing, every so often I drip water into his mouth with my finger. : /
Honestly, I'm pretty nervous that I might do something wrong and make him sick!

Also, about how many crickets should I give him a day? I've been giving him 3-4 meals of 4 crickets throughout the day.
I've been handling him during his 'cool-down' times when he's not basking ^ ^ I've already started to notice

I'm not sure when exactly to give him crickets, I just have the bearded dragon food, put some in there and let Glump eat when she needs too and give her live crickets and mealworms as treats. I'm not able to get them all the time, but someday I'd like to raise them.

Here comes the worst suggestion in existance because it's from my sporadic memory of something I barely remember.

I have no idea why that popped into my head, I just remembered that one movie where some guy kept getting called that to annoy him. It's a completely unserious suggestion because I'm known well for being awful at naming anything. Wish I was better at it so I could be of actual use here.
