HAMILTON FIGHTING MAJOR: Demidov, replaced by Marc-Andre Bisallion for remainder of period
HAMILTON GOAL: St. Claire (13) - Jones (12)
Summary:
Nerves were obvious from the start, as both teams seemed to be probing for weaknesses. It would be Portland that would take advantage, however, in a 4 goal 2nd period massacre.
Pehltonen stood strong in net, while nearly the entire Portland roster contributed offensively. Collie, on the other hand, will need to drastically improve his play in net, if Hamilton is to break Portland's record-setting 9 game winning streak.
Portland has yet to lose a playoff game in regulation.
