This is Charlotte Sturtle. She is an Eastern long-necked turtle adopted by me after being brought into a vet clinic with a shell fracture as a result of being hit by a car. After a few wires, a bridge and a lot of TLC, Charlotte is a happy and healthy old turtle! She harbors some old shell deformities from previous untreated shell fractures but is a hardy old lady and obviously didnt let them stop her! Due to her condition and her obvious affinity to humans she was unable to be released and thus came into my care!
