In this picture D. Dan is receiving the results of one of his first lessons during his first training sessions with professor Jacques el Noble at the royal university for elite knights.
Jacques el Noble proposed the question 'In a battle between a warrior with years of experience and a young warrior with prodigy like skills, to whom would the battle be won?'. In the class, most of the students are noted prodigies from around the globe.
D. Dan, an undefeated contestant in nearly a decade of tourneys and fighting championships at the time, raised his hand and said, in a cocky and comedic manner 'T'is simple. The winner would most certainly be the prodigy.'.
'Oh, is that so?'. Jacques el Noble motioned with his finger and and said 'Since you are most certain of your words and martial abilities, by all means, be the first to practice with me.'.
D. Dan replies 'Sure thing. Just to tell you ahead of time, I never hold back, even against respected old guys.'.
(note: Jacques el Noble is the great grandson of Anubis. He is a well respected and knowledgeable warrior around the world and highly sought after as a teacher. He is very much older than what he looks with an age of about 7,000 years being exceedingly slow to age with about the same number of years in experience.)
Jacques el Noble replies 'As you say. I, on the other hand, as always, shall hold back.'.
D. Dan replies 'Your funeral.'.
With that D. Dan suddenly and quickly runs to the ring and throws a quick punch. When his fist was about to make contact, the professor suddenly dodged and vanished out of sight. What came next was a strike that caused a short coma. When D. Dan came to, he was being pwned by the professor with his head being knocked against what was once the pedestal for a statue nearby.
After a few days of recovery, even with the advanced medicine of D. Dan's world, D. Dan found out that the professor gave him a beating of several lifetimes. From this lesson, D. Dan learned the humility and humbleness of losing. In addition, D. Dan learned that prodigies are nothing compared to a warrior with experience for even a prodigy is either still learning or is simply capable of learning whereas a warrior with experience has been there and done that and knows how to use their abilities. D. Dan lastly learned not to mess with the professor again, especially after learning that, during the whole time of the battle, Jacques el Noble was holding back and not using even half of 1 percent of his abilities. LOL. ^\/^.
At the time of D. Dan's early days at the royal university for elite knights, he was yet to have the muscular, buff and ripped body that he has now. He had bulk on him and some definition, but not anywhere close to what he has now. Also, his abilities and strength were, of course, not of the same level then as now. ^\/^.
