Mikey is just a filler roomie of Tarian's, they met during their school years when the dragon would playfully pick on the husky, his showing of kinship between the two. The real friendship didn't start until some bullies tried to pick on the fur, in which Tarian came to defend him.
They now live their lives as buddies, the dragon always finding a way to keep the easily embarrassed Mikey on his toes.
Mikey and  glasstalons's serpentwolf, Opal, are dysfunctional togetherfriends.
