This was fun and different, I used NO inks on this. Just a pencil sketch that I splashed some color on. I like the sketchy feel of it, I think it adds to the overall mood of the picture.

Scar wasn't stupid. I think he could see what he was doing to the Pridelands (mostly from allowing the hyenas to overrun it) and that was never his intention, remember he wanted to be a king who was adored. His pride would never allow him to admit his failures, never admit the lands were far better off under Mufasa's rule. Even when Sarabi shoves the facts in his face. I for one think he could see what was happening and it was just another of the things that caused his overall madness.
