yes i know, similar quality for that price is unheard of. yet gel has aggreed with me on this. she is extreamly hard to contact, very close and unpredictable. i had given her a deposit and commishioned her but it was taking months and months and months with no communications or uploads got to the point were i thought the money had been stolen.
thats why she was cheaper, not quality. i did get a refund in the end

I offered my work at a discount because I was not accurately assessing my own worth or skill. Also I am now doing this as my full time job, and found that my old prices did not pay a livable wage at the speed that I was able to work.
I am sorry Diegowuf was unhappy with my communication. I will freely admit that I am often slow to respond to email ( I try to answer it every 2-3 days, but I often get caught up in my work and only answer once a week for projects that are not currently in progress ), but I have never stolen anyone's money, and have a good history of completing suits within reasonable deadlines. I understand my communication time and methods may not be what works best for everyone or what everyone is comfortable with, and I do my best to be up front about it.

Yeah I was just trying to figure out exactly what they were trying to say. Underpricing because you don't plan on doing work, which seems to be what they were implying, is a ridiculous concept and I didn't want to jump all over that before I was certain.
I could tell just by looking that raising your prices was pretty much necessary. Otherwise you would absolutely be underselling. I was listening to what they had to say but I was taking it with a grain of salt. :P They already got a refund and it seems like they just can't let go.
Coming on to your page with comments like that is pretty rude, which is why I commented in the first place.

Well, thank you for being understanding, and I hope I didn't come off too defensive! :3 I'm never quite sure how to handle this sort of conflict, as it's really not something I encounter often.
That idea is a little odd, and not what I was doing at all! I simply wasn't sure I was ready to call myself a serious professional and didn't feel it was appropriate at that time to charge pro prices. After a lot of improvement, and hearing feed back from people who know a little more about the business, I'm a little more sure of my skill and changed prices accordingly :) Plus, well, I make my living doing this, and that does require occasional reevaluation of prices to suit living costs.

I totally get ya. I undercharge too, just because I'm scared of the whole process. It's so uncomfortable, putting a price on art. xD It's really good you raised yours though. Otherwise it would just not be worth it.
And you didn't seem defensive. I wasn't all that clear in my own comment just because I wanted to impartially hear what they were trying to say. It must be awful having to deal with something like that, so I understood right away why you were upset. No worries. :>
I really hope this works well for you! It's a hard business to run, but it's fun too. good luck! <3

I would really appreciate you not saying things like this about me on my own page. Yes, the first time I worked with you, I fully admit I had communication issues. However, I addressed them, and did everything in my power to be responsive to you in a very reasonable manner the second time, usually responding within 24 hours of receiving your emails. I did not go months without contacting you after you paid. When you expressed a disinterest in working with me despite this, I immediately refunded you.
I do not like blocking people or hiding comments, but if you continue to post things on my page like this, I will have no choice. It's personally upsetting and hurtful to my business to have you saying these things, especially when they are not true.

I must say that you have come such a long way. I still have my partial that you made for me, how many years ago? And it is still strong, and that's back when you first started making suits. I am glad to see your prices are this high, I've thought for years you were undercharging, Hope you do wonderful business Gel~
