They put one of the prototypes through our shop so we could design swaybars for it. I don't know if they ever actually put them on the production model or not. Had Michigan dealer plates on the car though and this was in SoCal at the time. Looong time ago that was! ;)

Not bad. The Ion Redline was actually a pretty decent car. Particularly for the price.

except the Redline's turbo was about the size of your fist. Small diam. turbo is nice for quick spoolup but those were ridiculous.

looking at their current lineup, there all re-badged versions of the cars we get here (badged as Vauxhall here, and Opel in Europe) kinda disappointing :(

yeah i don't think this one was made by anyone but Saturn, some of them were though (like the roadster), until GM killed the brand :C

As a Saturn owner, i can attest to the desire to modify and drive these cars hard, i had a 1999 SL with No power steering that made corners so much fun, now i have a 1995 that's N/A High Compression, and a grippy as shit clutch, it's REALLY fun to drive, and it's dropped 3" with bars and tower bars, it's a curvy road's dream. Same with my Alero, Only that has coilovers and aluminum arms, as well as all the same mods as the Saturn. Gm knows how to make a damn good car.

Honestly, I would have dropped Buick, and kept Saturn....
