I think I talk about her a whopping one time in the first book but mention her quite a few - this is the Lady of the Forest, Gwendolyn, referred to by many as their queen.
I imagine her as having a young face and body but travel-weary, tired eyes. She speaks softly and acts justly, earning her the love of many. But she is rotting like organic matter, very slowly - several years ago, she fell in love with a man who had evil in his heart, and sinned for him time and time again. She could easily restore herself to her former beauty and power by renouncing her love for the man, but she is too bound to her love to do it, despite never seeing him again after her rot began.
Lady Gwendolyn becomes a major part of the story in a couple books. Not in this fart one, haha.
