I've experienced a few different scenarios when I've been stung by bees/wasps for no reason. Heck, there was one time when I was a little kid and I was riding my bike on the driveway when, all of a sudden, a bee flies onto my neck and stings me for no reason. I know not all bees are like this, but I still get nervous when I hear that kinda buzzing. >.>
Hornets are nastier than bees; I remember sometimes yellow jackets can sting for no reason!
We are currently having carpenter bee problems in our basement and garage. The males can't sting, but they are still aggressive and we don't want them to damage our house! Where's a woodpecker when you really need one?
