really nice use of different tones and colors
however, i really miss your original characters. it seems all you draw lately are commissions. i understand money is a big thing, but all the same draw for yourself once in a while. people won't get offended i'm sure especially if they're a big fan of your work.
i've wanted to say this for a while now, but haven't been entirely sure how to say it. i still feel like this isn't quite right :\

Please, he's hardly mastered it. See how asymetrical and unstructured his attack is? Not only is he leaving himself wide open, but any competent mage would have no trouble fending off... whatever that is, be it pulse bolt, lightning beam, impulsion blast, etcetera...
Also, that's not pure energy. Pure electricity maybe, but most definitely NOT pure energy; that stuff looks completely different.
