A Riven inspired picture, I mentioned that there was a bit where you wandered into the Moiety village. There's a door you can knock on where a villager will peek out at you and then slam the door slot closed again. I could just imagine in my mind's eye how Three would probably spend at least a couple of hours at the door trying to coax the person inside to come out and talk to her. But considering how Gehn had the whole village living in terror of his retribution, I can imagine why they'd leave that door tightly shut.

I'm starting to like this series of Three's adventures in the worlds of Myst. Not only were Myst and its sequels beautiful and fun games, I like this concept of Three exploring these worlds and overcoming adversity through her wits alone and not through her skill with her blades.
And it fits quite well! There's not many monsters in the game, and many times when you find yourself facing a protagonist the confrontation is intellectual or a situation where violence is either impossible (because Gehn has you in a cage) or simply dangerous like the Whark, or precariously situational Saavedro holding one of the Myst books hostage by dangling it over the edge of an abyss. I was rather glad they thought of it all like that :)
