lol well, we all have those works where we're not so happy with the end product. The best thing is to let it sit for a bit and then come back to it, see what you'd like to change and edit ^^

Yeah, this and the previous one fit into that category. I'm starting to kind of understand certain things it needs and what must be done, but they're still hit and miss at times. The only way I'll find out if they're alright or not is to try my best anyways and work on them later.

yep yep, experiment, break down, rewrite, etc. all the fun processes of writing, patience is always the best xDDD But once you figure out a good system for you, the writing process becomes a bit easier lol

I learned about those in my writing courses and since learned to apply them to my writing. Looking back at the things I wrote on FA way back when I first started, it makes me sigh and happy inside. Not so much in embarrassment or shame or anything, but more "ugh, I wrote that?" feeling. On the other hand its good to see I've improved somewhat. Its on the back-burner, but I'll continue with it after NaPoWriMo is over, since this month has motivated me to write again as well as work on poetry, something I definitely consider my weakness.

we all go through a period where we're like "Ugh, i can't believe i wrote that.* I sometimes hate looking back at my stuff lol. Even worse I get asked to read the old ones at a few public open readings >.<

National novel writing month is my biggest challenge lol prose is not my strong point unfortunately but I'm working at it, getting lots of critique with it best I can do lol
