Wrytergirl did this as a request for  Scarthewolf34 who asked me to repost this one with a mini-story.

Ever wonder what would happen to Impy when she finally matured out of... Whatever you call the stage she's in now? XD Well Scar did, and this is what Wrytergil came up with.

Impy sat there, her nose twitching to the smell of coconut oil and bananas. In a wood paneled den, just like her former mistress had, Impy reclined. Her turtleneck sweater and her bell bottoms pooled around her. "I sure do miss Doc. sometimes." Impy said grinding her tooth.

"We all do." Terrus said from over his laptop.

"Things just aren't the same without her around." She sighed, fanning herself with a postcard.

"Well you've got the kids to think about now, besides she wanted you to try and take her place one day." Terrus pointed with his thumb to a picture on the wall behind him. The aging mare, still smoking her pipe, cast a permanent, steel glare with her blue eyes.

"I could never fill her shoes... Or wear them, they were nailed on you know." Impy sniffed, the scent of coconut making her nose twitch again.

"Why are you talking about her like she's dead, Impy?" Terrus closed his laptop. "She just went to stay in South America for a few years." His eyes went to the floor. "Till the heat dies down..."

"I just miss her." Impy's eyes blared to the sudden sound of feet upstairs.

"That's the worst fart you've ever done!" One pup screamed, the sound of feet followed.

"Just think about deviled eggs!" The other replied.

"Alright you little, rotters!" Impy thundered, tossing the postcard aside. "If I have to come up there you'll really smell something bad!" She stormed off.

"I'll try not to think to hard on what you mean by that." Terrus called out as she left, then turned his eyes to the post card on the table.

A bikini clad, aging pony frowned on the cover. A banana in his hand and a leash around his neck, time had treated Oscil well. "I'd tell you to hang in there, buddy. But you've been hanging in there for forty years." Terrus said, and opened his laptop again.
