I think the way I see this creature is as something with a basic shape, and the ability to add to it, but not to detract from it. The most common additions being hands. Lots and lots of hands, coming from it's back. His back, I guess. Pretty sure it's male.

can't be certain of it's personality nor it's purpose, but here it is, with it's hands, all claiming things as it's own.
