The first, and last time, I'll do a stream sketch where the client directs what style is use for the sketch. It was fun to do, but it just takes a bit too much extra time to familiarize myself with the style, and the cost of the stream sketches isn't enough to fairly allow such direction. You can direct such a thing for a Full-pro commission though :)

I thank the client for giving me a "first-time" scenario as well. It's been a while since I had one.
