"From my heart and from my hands. Why don't people understand my intentions?"

This is a Motor City Comic Con portfolio piece but it was originally meant to be an entry in a contest which is why he's drawn all sexy-like. I don't have time to finish the rest of the art required for said contest so I've pretty much dropped the idea entirely.

Instead of a 'mainstream' character I decided to do a picture of one of my own boys (Since I'm planning on commissioning a pro comic artist to draw a sketch of him while I'm there). I tried a different coloring style.

Shae is my resident space nerd/scienctist/uber geek character. He's one of my favorite characters to draw because he's just so fun. He's also a total attention whore.

I've pretty much adopted the song 'Weird Science' as his theme song since it completely fits the character... but instead of trying to create a woman like the movie/song is about he likes to make explosives.

On a side note... I never know whether to list my Ultimarians as "humans" or "aliens" since they're pretty much both.
